Meet Dr. Leanne Jaye

Dr. Leanne Jaye is a passionate educator, researcher, mentor, and mother of four children in their early years. She speacialises in childhood development and higher education. With a background in Sports Therapy and Strength & Conditioning, she has dedicated her career to improving children's developmental outcomes while equipping educators, parents, caregivers, and university students with the tools to support learning and growth.
Her academic journey is one of resilience and determination. After failing her A-Levels, she persevered and went on to achieve a First-Class BSc in Sports Therapy and an MSc in Strength & Conditioning with Distinction. She later earned a PhD in early childhood movement development, focusing on Fundamental Movement Skills—the foundation of skills used in physical activity and are critical for physical, cognitive and social development. As a University Lecturer and mentor, Dr. Leanne has guided countless students in their professional journeys, helping to shape the next generation.
